Job summary

The Yarco Companies in Florida is seeking a maintenance worker to support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance across the property, public spaces, and exterior grounds to ensure safe and well-maintained apartment homes.

This role may require some painting and on-call duties to support resident needs. Essential duties include appliance troubleshooting, unit turnover to market-ready condition, pool maintenance where applicable, and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Pool certification preferred; HVAC certification, boiler certification if appropriate.
One year maintenance experience in residential property.

Responsibilities

Maintain property appearance and upkeep with daily exterior and interior inspections.
Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical and plumbing issues on appliances.
Make ready units to market-ready condition per company standards; some painting may be required.
Maintain laundry rooms according to company guidelines.
Perform pool maintenance including daily chemical inspections and cleaning where applicable.
Provide customer service to meet resident satisfaction and be available for on-call emergencies as requested by Community Manager.
Perform other duties as needed.
