Job summary

Roundhouse in Belgrade, MT is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician to keep our multifamily communities in top shape. You will perform hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems, respond quickly to work orders, and help protect curb appeal.

We offer $23-$25/hour plus commissions, a Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm) with an on-call rotation and benefits. The successful candidate will have at least one year in general maintenance, a driver’s

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year in general maintenance and repair work.
• Working understanding of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, CPO, and carpentry systems.
• Strong communication and a genuine customer-service mindset.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• The physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds, stand/walk for long periods, climb ladders and work outdoors in all weather.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Handle hands-on repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and pool/spa systems.
• Respond fast to work orders and see each one through to a high-quality finish.
• Walk the property to catch maintenance issues early and keep it compliant with safety and health codes.
• Protect curb appeal by keeping grounds, building exteriors, and common areas clean and functional.
• Partner with the Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks, approve purchases, and coordinate vendors.
• Keep clear records of the work you do, including materials, hours, and completion status.
• Take your turn in the after-hours emergency on-call rotation and pitch in on snow and ice removal.
• Stay on top of maintenance software so every work order is current, accurate, and on time.
