Job summary

HRI Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the property's general condition across electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and painting. You will handle maintenance requests promptly and contribute to the preventive maintenance program for all building systems.

This role offers a $500 sign-on bonus and benefits including health coverage, paid time off, and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

HVAC certification preferred.
Residential/apartment maintenance experience required.
General residential maintenance skills including A/C, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and related tasks.
Must be able to work on-call maintenance shifts.

Responsibilities

Maintain general maintenance of the exterior and interior of the property building.
Complete work orders promptly, including on-call requests.
Demonstrate the ability to resolve maintenance issues to prevent a recurrence.
Maintain inventory to ensure materials, supplies, and equipment are available on-site.
Inspect and test machinery and maintenance equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe environment; report unsafe conditions to the supervisor and recommend corrective action.
Partner with external vendors, contractors, and other maintenance team members on special projects.
Perform other duties as assigned.
