Qualifications

• Ability to respond effectively to site emergencies.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry and general repair and maintenance duties.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to get to the site in a timely manner to respond to emergencies.
• Ability to utilize basic computer skills and use company programs.
• Ability to fill out and complete work orders accurately.
• Ability to communicate effectively with site staff and residents.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to safely operate power tools such as saws and drills.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical before the start of work.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record, and a reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to be flexible for on-call hours and site coverage.

Responsibilities

• Full-Time, Monday - Friday.
• Inventory control and purchasing in conjunction with the manager.
• Meets and communicates with site managers regularly to update on-site issues.
• Assumes on-call responsibilities for unforeseen emergencies.
• Coordinates contracts and oversees contractor activities.
• Responds to daily emergencies and routine service work orders in a timely manner.
• Maintains the appearance of the site by cleaning common areas daily.
