Job summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our residential properties. You will perform basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks to maintain units and common areas, ensuring readiness for new occupancy.

Responsibilities include responding to work orders, assisting in move-in/out inspections, and keeping accurate maintenance records while adhering to safety policies. Strong reliability and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum maintenance experience.
• High School Diploma; trade or certifications a plus.
• Valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches, outlets, circuits, etc. and light plumbing work.
• Perform carpentry work: doors, shelves, floors, painting.
• Replace broken glass, tile, carpet, fixtures, appliances, draperies, locks.
• Assist in custodial and grounds work in common areas.
• Respond to work orders and resident requests promptly.
• Assist in move-in/move-out inspections and make-ready vacant units.
