Job summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks in residential units. You will assist in make-ready inspections, respond to work orders, and help maintain common areas while ensuring safety standards are followed.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma and relevant trade training is a plus; ability to read English instructions is required and you must be reliable and team-oriented for a fast-paced property

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required with trades exposure.
• Willingness to perform maintenance tasks beyond repairs.
• Must read and comprehend work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical and plumbing repairs in residential units.
• Paint, carpentry, replace fixtures and perform light maintenance.
• Respond to work orders and coordinate with management.
• Assist in inspections and make-ready of vacant units.
• Maintain records of maintenance, safety and inventory.
