Job summary

The Michaels Organization seeks a maintenance professional to support residential units with basic plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks on-site. You will inspect units, respond to work orders, and assist in move-in/move-out processes to ensure readiness for new occupants.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year in maintenance, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license. The role demands reliability and a safety-conscious approach in daily activities.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum maintenance work experience or experience in a related field.
• Ability to read, speak and comprehend work instructions and safety notices in English.
• Must be personable and trustworthy, able to work with residents and coworkers, and perform work safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic electrical repairs on appliances, fixtures, switches and outlets.
• Perform carpentry work such as doors, shelves, floors and painting.
• Replace broken glass, tiles, carpet and fixtures as needed.
• Assist custodial and grounds work in common areas.
• Respond to work orders and resident requests promptly.
• Assist in move-in/move-out inspections and make-ready of vacant units.
