Job summary

The Michaels Organization is a national leader in residential real estate seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Manager in keeping communities safe and well-maintained.

You will perform HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks, respond to work orders, and assist in custodial duties while delivering excellent resident service in a fast-paced property management environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferred.
• 1 year experience or training in carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, refurbishing and cleaning.
• Proven knowledge and application of codes, laws, and regulations.
• Must be able to pass background investigation and drug test screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC repairs and preventive maintenance on residential systems.
• Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting tasks as needed.
• Replace broken fixtures, glass, or appliances and assist in custodial work.
• Respond to resident requests and notify supervisors of issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain records of preventive maintenance and work orders.
