Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an on-site role in Meridian, Idaho. You will handle resident service requests, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with make-ready tasks to prepare apartments for leasing.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with painting, carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• Excellent communication skills; read, write, and communicate effectively; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance.
• Prepares apartments for new move-ins via the make-ready process and inspections.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Coordinates with vendors and contractors; tracks inventory and orders supplies.
• Documents service requests clearly and promptly for tracking.
• Supports cost-control by using parts efficiently and avoiding waste.
