Job summary

Essex Property Trust, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician II to upkeep residential communities in Bothell, WA. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, repair interior and exterior features, prep units for new residents, and keep common areas looking their best.

You will respond to work orders, conduct inspections, and implement safety standards. A high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of maintenance experience are required; HVAC and/or CPO certification is

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
2+ years of property maintenance or related experience.
HVAC and/or CPO certification preferred.
Valid driver’s license for on-site mobility and golf-cart use.
Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing and appliance repair.
Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes.

Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances).
Repair interior and exterior features and prepare units for new residents.
Respond to resident work orders and ensure timely resolution.
Inspect property and maintain common areas to standards for cleanliness and functionality.
Maintain preventive maintenance schedule and document work in SightPlan.
On-call availability evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
