Job summary

Timberland Partners' Legacy Village in Springfield, TN is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a 212-unit community. You’ll own general upkeep, unit turns, and preventative maintenance to deliver an outstanding living experience for residents.

Responsibilities include responding to resident work requests, maintaining grounds and common areas, performing make-readies, and providing on-call emergency support on a rotating basis.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of general maintenance experience, residential maintenance preferred.
• EPA universal HVAC license required (must obtain within 90 days if not certified).
• CPO license preferred.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems and major appliances.
• Experience with apartment turnover and make-readies.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, high-quality results for resident work requests and day-to-day community maintenance needs.
• Maintain curb appeal by keeping grounds, amenities, and common areas to high standards.
• Identify and resolve safety or upkeep issues, protecting residents and property.
• Execute make-readies, repairs, and final checks for flawless move-ins.
• Provide reliable emergency support on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Champion safety by following industry procedures and protecting teammates.
