Job summary

The Michaels Organization is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Manager in keeping the community safe, secure, and comfortable for residents. You will perform HVAC repairs, basic electrical/plumbing tasks, carpentry, painting, and preventive maintenance while providing excellent customer service to residents and staff.

Candidates should have an HVAC certification preferred and be able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification preferable.
• 1 year of experience or training in carpentry, light plumbing, light electrical, painting, refurbishing and cleaning.
• Knowledge of codes, laws and regulations.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintenance and repairs to HVAC systems.
• Perform electrical, plumbing and carpentry tasks as needed.
• Paint, refurbish, and maintain interiors and exteriors.
• Inspect units and common areas for safety and upkeep.
• Respond to work orders and resident concerns professionally.
