Job summary

Olympus Fenwick is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to join our service team. You will perform maintenance on property facilities and apartment homes, including HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs.

The role supports daily operations alongside the Lead Maintenance Technician in a busy, resident-focused environment. We offer a full-time schedule, opportunities for growth, benefits, and a culture that emphasizes care for our residents and teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment maintenance experience.
• EPA/HVAC license preferred.
• Able to work full-time, including emergencies and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance repair.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units, replacing filters, and cleaning coils.
• Repair and replace kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, ovens, and microwaves.
• Minor to moderate plumbing repairs, replacements, and installation.
• Repair or replace sink/shower/toilet fixtures.
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches.
• Lock changes, lockouts, and door hardware.
• Operate tools and maintain a tidy maintenance shop and inventory.
• Track service requests and maintenance work in software systems.
• Assist in grounds, common areas, and pool upkeep.
