Job summary

Olympus Property is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Jacksonville, FL to support a service-ready property. You’ll handle repairs across plumbing, carpentry, painting, and appliance fixes, while performing preventative maintenance on HVAC units and related systems.

The role requires 2+ years of maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge or EPA license, and willingness to respond to emergencies. Olympus offers benefits and a path for growth within a family-oriented, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of commercial, residential, or apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and/or an EPA/HVAC license.
• Available for emergencies as needed.
• Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday 9 AM–6 PM (hours may vary).

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance requests with knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance repair, etc.
• Preventative maintenance and diagnosis on HVAC units, replacing filters, and cleaning coils
• Repair and replace kitchen appliances, refrigerators, stoves, washers/dryers, ovens, and microwaves
• Minor to moderate plumbing repairs, replacements, and installation
• Repair or replace fixtures (sinks, showers, toilets)
• Repair or replace electrical fixtures and switches
• Lock changes and door hardware replacement
• Operate hand and power tools; maintain maintenance shop and inventory
• Track service requests and maintenance work in software
• Assist in grounds, common areas, and pool upkeep
• Collaborate with Lead Maintenance Technician on priorities
• Available for emergency maintenance as needed
