Job summary

AvalonBay Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Denver, CO to address resident service requests, perform hands-on maintenance, and ensure market-ready apartments. You will also handle preventative maintenance and keep grounds and common areas in top condition.

Your responsibilities include plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, HVAC (where applicable), and reporting issues promptly. A High School diploma and valid driver’s license are required, along with the ability to work

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be able to troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and HVAC equipment (where applicable).
• Effective communication in English, both written and verbal, is required.

Responsibilities

• Promptly addressing resident service requests.
• Performing hands-on maintenance tasks including plumbing and electrical work.
• Preparing market-ready apartments and maintaining community grounds.
• Conducting regular community inspections to identify repairs or replacements.
