Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical condition of properties, perform preventative maintenance, and manage make-ready tasks for vacant units. The role involves diagnosing issues, coordinating with vendors, and documenting work orders to meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include completing make-readies, tracking inventory, and practicing cost-control measures.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing defects and repairs in compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Ability to complete make-ready process for vacant units and coordinate with vendors.
• Experience tracking inventory and ordering materials for maintenance.
• Ability to document service requests accurately and timely.
• General grounds and common-area maintenance and painting as needed.
• Focus on cost-control by fixing rather than replacing parts when possible.

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety and risk-management policies and attends routine safety meetings.
• Periodically inspect work by contractors and vendors to verify quality and scope.
