Job summary

Bryten is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Marrington Village in Goose Creek, SC. You will perform repairs, preventative maintenance, and prepare units for new residents to uphold a safe, welcoming community.

Ideal candidates have apartment maintenance experience, HVAC certification preferred, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. On-site work with on-call rotations and a focus on safety and quality apply.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment/facilities maintenance preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer and mobile tech for work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, carpentry, drywall, painting.
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents (make-ready).
• Conduct routine inspections for safety and maintenance needs.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and on-call rotations.
• Maintain grounds and curb appeal; ensure safety compliances.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders and inspections.
• Communicate with residents, vendors, and team members.
