Job summary

NHE, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain and repair apartment community assets in Goose Creek, SC. You will handle electrical, plumbing, HVAC, pools, and appliances, and coordinate with supervisors on make-readies and work orders.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, inventory control, and assisting with vendor coordination. The role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and some holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years general maintenance experience.
• Needs ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and pool equipment.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• EPA refrigerant certification required or available.
• Certifications in boilers, plumbing, HVAC are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on apartments and systems.
• Coordinate repairs with manager and maintenance supervisor.
• Prepare vacant units for move-in and ensure cleanliness.
• Order supplies within approved budget and monitor spend.
• Respond to service requests and emergencies promptly.
