Job summary

Beacon Management's Glens of Bloomfield in Bloomfield Hills, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the property's physical integrity.

This full-time role offers on-site work, on-call rotation for 24-hour emergency service, opportunities for certifications, and a benefits package including holidays, PTO, insurance, and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and locks.
• Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
• Customer service skills and ability to develop rapport with residents and staff.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Effectively handle service requests, correcting the situation within 24 hours when possible. Ensure all make-ready repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
• Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure 24 hour emergency maintenance service and response.
• Floating duties as assigned.
• Maintain the curb appeal of the community by; picking up the grounds, removing snow and debris, working on the landscaping and common area needs.
