Job summary

Westland Real Estate Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep Greenville-Pine Village in top condition and ensure residents live in a safe, well-maintained environment. The role covers a broad range of trades and requires handling after-hours emergencies on a rotating schedule.

The position calls for hands-on experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, with the ability to service occupied and vacant units.

Qualifications

1–2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in residential or similar setting.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Ability to participate in rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
Physical ability to lift over 75 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
Higher levels (II–IV) require advanced experience and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of hands-on maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
Prepare vacant apartment homes by completing repairs, painting, and fixture installations for move-ins.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and grounds.
Provide outstanding customer service to residents and complete service requests promptly.
