Job summary

Westland Real Estate Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Las Vegas, NV. You will perform a variety of hands-on maintenance tasks across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting to keep our properties in excellent condition and respond to on-call emergencies as needed.

Ideal candidates have 1–2+ years of residential maintenance experience, basic knowledge of building systems, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

1-2+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in a residential or similar setting.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours emergencies.
The physical ability to lift over 75 pounds and work in various weather conditions.
For Higher Levels (II, III, IV): Advanced experience (3-6+ years) and/or specialized certifications (HVAC, Electrical, etc.) are highly desirable and will be considered for higher-level positions and pay.

Responsibilities

Repairs & Maintenance: Perform a wide range of hands-on maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting to resolve resident work orders and keep the property in excellent condition.
Unit Turnover ("Make-Ready"): Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing all necessary repairs, painting, and fixture installations to ensure a quality move-in experience.
Preventative Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems, equipment, and grounds to identify and address issues proactively.
Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to residents, communicating professionally and completing service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
