Job summary

PeakMade Real Estate is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold safety standards and deliver dependable on-site service across our properties. The role emphasizes reliability, resident communication, and timely repairs within a fast-paced multi-property environment.

You will perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems, assist the supervisor with budgeting and inventory, and support move-ins/move-outs while rotating on-call duties to ensure resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year maintenance experience, preferably in the apartment industry.
• EPA certification Type I and II preferred.
• Must live within 30 miles of the assigned property.
• Reliable transportation and ability to accommodate rotating on-call schedule.
• Varied schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances and other systems.
• Other licenses and certifications as required by local, state or federal law.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs thoroughly and on time.
• Assist Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring inventory of equipment, tools and supplies.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards.
• Keep work area organized, clean and safe.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedule.
• Communicate effectively with residents, vendors and supervisors.
• Assist with move-in/move-out processes and turnover events.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment per manufacturer manuals.
• Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
• Maintain records and contribute to upkeep of offices and common areas.
