Job summary
Article Student Living in Reno, NV is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to uphold safety, appearance, and maintenance standards across the property. You will ensure grounds, common areas, and curb appeal meet our high quality standards while delivering professional service to residents.
The role requires 1+ year experience, basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting and appliance repair skills.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of related maintenance or construction work experience.
- Customer service focused with a professional appearance.
- Basic knowledge of residential HVAC systems.
- Experience with appliance repair and installation.
- Knowledge of drywall repair, patching, sanding, and finishing.
- Experience with interior and exterior painting.
- Basic plumbing knowledge for leaks, clogs and fixtures.
- Basic electrical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Support the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining a safe environment for staff and residents
- Resolve issues in the community and property
- Provide suggestions for opportunities for improvement and efficiency
- On-call during certain times of the month
