Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to perform maintenance and repairs across the property, ensuring safety and adherence to company standards. You will diagnose issues, complete make-ready tasks for new move-ins, and support on-site operations in a Garden-style community.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, inventory management, and keeping documentation up-to-date. A flexible schedule with on-call rotation is required, and EPA refrigerant certifications are a must.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.
• Certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing (make-ready) and conducts pre-move-out inspections.
• Manages materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and minor repairs.
