Job summary

Hillpointe is seeking a maintenance technician to handle resident repairs while performing preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. You will inspect units, prepare vacants, and coordinate with vendors for specialized work, logging all activities and safety incidents.

Ideal candidates will troubleshoot across multiple building systems, with EPA certification a differentiator and a valid driver's license required for on-site golf-cart operation.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification or willingness to obtain it
• Possession of a valid driver's license for on-property golf-cart operation
• Experience across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Handle resident repair requests and on-call maintenance
• Conduct inspections and prepare vacant units (make-readies)
• Track parts, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors for external work
• Log work orders, materials used, and safety incidents accurately
• Work rotating on-call schedule including evenings and weekends
