Job summary

Greystar in San Diego, CA is seeking a hands-on Community Maintenance professional to ensure the interior and exterior spaces meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality across the property.

In this role you will handle work orders, oversee make-ready readiness for leasing, maintain grounds and equipment, and assist with budgeting and safety compliance, with a focus on resident satisfaction and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of community management experience.
• Experience using Yardi Systems or RealPage.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively to support community operations.
• Proficiency in customer service and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from residents and perform routine maintenance.
• Oversee and complete the make-ready process for vacant homes and coordinate vendors.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, and units.
• Periodically inspect work by staff and contractors to ensure quality and safety.
• Assist Community Manager in budgeting for repairs and maintenance.
