Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure interior and exterior spaces meet company standards for safety and quality. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and complete routine upkeep across the community.

You will handle work orders, manage the make-ready process for new move-ins, and collaborate with vendors. A high school diploma or GED is required, with EPA HVAC certification preferred; own hand tools required; valid driver's license and flexible hours expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Must provide own hand tools; safe use of tools required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Proficiency with basic computer and maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Assists and completes work orders from resident requests and routine maintenance.
• Oversees make-ready process for vacant apartments, schedules vendors, and inspects work.
• Sets standards for grounds, buildings, and common areas to reflect quality.
• Inspects others' work and vendors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintains inventory and assists with budgets and cost controls.
• Conducts safety meetings and stays current on OSHA requirements.
