American Homes 4 Rent, L.P. is seeking a Resident Maintenance Specialist to oversee tenant maintenance requests across our single-family rental properties in Charleston, SC.

You will balance cost control, customer service, and asset preservation while assigning work orders, reviewing vendor bids, and guiding vendors to timely resolution. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, at least one year in construction/maintenance, and strong communication skills.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one year of experience in construction/maintenance, property management, or logistics scheduling/dispatching preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish verbal and written skills preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC skills.
• Experience with Customer Service Software Applications, VOIP phone systems, CRM, InContact and Balto.

Mansioni

• Oversee maintenance requests and manage a portfolio of work orders from start to finish.
• Approve vendor bids and manage change orders when necessary.
• Assign work orders to internal or external resources following company guidelines.
• Diagnose maintenance problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Dispatch clear and timely instructions to vendors for resolution of maintenance problems.
