Job summary

Cromwell Energy, in Cromwell, CT, is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our growing team. This hands-on role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing residential HVAC systems with a commitment to craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Requirements include 2+ years' experience, B2, D2 or S2 license, EPA 608 certification, a valid driver's license, and strong troubleshooting and communication skills. CDL with Hazmat is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HVAC installation or service experience.
• EPA 608 certification required.
• B2, D2 or S2 license required.
• CDL with Hazmat a plus.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and manuals.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on heating and cooling equipment
• Ensure all work meets local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system issues, repairs, and recommendations
• Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and parts inventory
• Collaborate with dispatch and team members to manage daily service calls efficiently
