Blue Dot Heating, Air Conditioning in Maryland is seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Service Technician. You will diagnose, service, and repair home comfort systems across Maryland, working hands-on in homes and communicating clearly with customers about issues, solutions, and pricing.

The role offers 4- or 5-day weeks, no on-call requirements, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and a company vehicle with gas card. Training toward Journeyman/Master licenses is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of HVAC service tech experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Able to pass background and drug screening.
• Ability to work in attics, crawlspaces, and lift heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
• Perform service and repairs on split systems, heat pumps, gas furnaces, boilers, air handlers, thermostats, and IAQ components.
• Troubleshoot electrical, airflow, refrigerant, ignition, venting, and control issues.
• Confirm system performance after repair (temps, pressures, amps, static pressure when needed).
• Communicate clearly with homeowners about problem, solution, pricing, and expectations.
• Document diagnostics, repairs, and completed work in the system (notes, photos, invoices).
• Follow safety procedures and Maryland licensing requirements.
