Job summary

Apex Midwest in Kansas City is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Residential Service Technician to join our growing team, serving Kansas City and surrounding areas. The role offers uncapped pay potential, insurance options, 401(k) with company match, and ongoing training.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing residential HVAC equipment, performing preventative maintenance, advising customers on repairs or upgrades, and maintaining service records.

Qualifications

• HVAC degree, certification, or equivalent residential HVAC service experience.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills for residential heating and cooling systems.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate and handle HVAC tools and equipment.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC equipment and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on residential HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Present recommendations for system repairs, replacements, and upgrades that provide value to customers.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Educate customers on proper system operation, maintenance, and energy-saving practices.
• Participate in company and manufacturer training programs.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
