Climate Control Heating, Cooling & Plumbing in Liberty, MO is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential systems. You will run your own truck, manage calls, and deliver a 5-star customer experience for homeowners throughout the area.

The role requires EPA 608 certification (R22 knowledge), with NATE preferred. You should read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot ductwork and equipment, and be able to present options clearly to customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on residential HVAC service experience.
• EPA 608 Certification required, including R22.
• NATE Certification preferred.
• Able to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
• 1–2 years of in-home HVAC sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
• Availability for on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on residential HVAC equipment.
• Read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot refrigerant, electrical, and duct system issues.
• Communicate findings and repair options clearly to homeowners using a good, better, best presentation.
• Identify and present replacement opportunities to the sales team.
• Sell and promote maintenance agreements and indoor air quality products.
• Document all work, findings, and recommendations accurately in our service software.
• Maintain truck stock, tools, and vehicle appearance.
• Participate in the on-call rotation.
• Deliver a 5-star customer experience at every touch point.
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with EPA and local code requirements.

Climate Control Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This is a role for a technician who takes pride in the diagnosis, communicates clearly with homeowners, and does the job right the first time.

You'll run your own truck, own your calls, and have the backing of a company that invests in its people.

Requirements

• Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot refrigerant, electrical, and duct systems
• 1–2 years of in-home HVAC sales experience preferred
• Proficient with a tablet and smartphone, and able to read a map or follow GPS
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Availability for on-call rotation
• Must be 18 years of age or older to apply

Working Conditions

• Field-based role requiring daily travel to residential homes
• Work performed indoors, outdoors, and in attics and crawlspaces
• Requires PPE and safety-conscious behavior
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions
