Job summary

AB May in Kansas City is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Residential Service Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment, perform routine maintenance, and educate customers on energy-saving tips.

Qualifications

• HVAC degree or equivalent HVAC installation experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on Residential HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns.
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customers.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Educate customers on proper system operation and energy-saving tips to maximize efficiency.
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Perform routine maintenance on Residential HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and prevent breakdowns
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customers
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, and bending.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina.
