Apex Midwest is seeking an HVAC Selling Technician to diagnose customer needs, propose residential HVAC solutions, and grow earning potential in Kansas City and surrounding areas.

This role blends service and sales, requiring strong diagnostics, clear communication, and the ability to present replacement options and financing to customers. The position offers uncapped pay with commissions, a company vehicle, benefits, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• HVAC degree, certification, or equivalent residential HVAC service experience.
• Previous experience in HVAC sales, service, or a selling technician role preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to present solutions and confidently discuss system replacement options.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely operate HVAC tools, equipment, and company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
• Identify opportunities for equipment replacement, upgrades, and indoor air quality solutions.
• Present recommendations and financing options to customers in a professional and consultative manner.
• Provide accurate estimates for repairs and replacement systems.
• Educate customers on system performance, energy efficiency, and available solutions.
• Build trust and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Participate in company and manufacturer training programs.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, and customer communications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
