Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling in Milwaukee, WI seeks an Assistant Residential Operations Manager to support daily operations, training, and technical questions for HVAC service teams. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems while ensuring high customer satisfaction and teamwork.

The role requires strong HVAC knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to coach others. Minimum 3 years’ experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical school HVAC training preferred.
• EPA 608 (Type II) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential HVAC repair and installation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Residential Operations Manager with daily operations and administration tasks.
• Work with the manager to build and implement efficient training programming for Service Technicians and HVAC Installers-Residential.
• Coach and train team members on technical questions and common field issues.
• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems per manufacturer specs and company standards.
• Perform routine maintenance to improve system reliability, efficiency, and safety.
• Document service findings and parts used in the service software.
• Explain issues and options clearly to customers in a professional manner.
• Educate customers on proper system operation and maintenance.
