Job summary

K Komfort Heating & Cooling in Saginaw, MI is seeking an Assistant Residential Operations Manager to support daily operations, dispatch coordination, and training for the Residential team. You will work with the Residential Operations Manager, Service Technicians, and HVAC Installers-Residential to troubleshoot and ensure top service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical school HVAC training preferred.
• EPA 608 (Type II) certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential HVAC repair and installation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Residential Operations Manager with daily operations and administration tasks.
• Work with the Residential Operations Manager to build and implement training programs for technicians.
• Coach and train team members on HVAC procedures and common field issues.
• Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems per manufacturer specs.
• Perform routine maintenance to improve reliability and safety.
• Document service findings and parts used in service software.
• Explain issues and options clearly to customers and answer questions professionally.
• Educate customers on system operation and potential improvements.
• Maintain organized job sites and stock service vehicles.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service requests.
• Follow safety procedures and applicable codes and standards.
