Five Star Heating & Cooling, part of Southern Home Services, seeks a dynamic HVAC Lead Install Technician to oversee installation, upgrades, and replacements in residential properties.

Lead technicians guide helpers, ensure safety and code compliance, manage tools and inventory, and deliver exceptional customer service on every project.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of HVAC experience in the residential market.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Holds EPA certification for environmental compliance.
• Advanced troubleshooting and critical thinking to resolve HVAC issues.
• Proactive, enthusiastic approach with commitment to high-quality work.
• Prioritizes exceptional customer service and addresses client needs.
• Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels.
• Flexible and collaborative in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, or replace HVAC systems in homes with precision.
• Cut, thread, and connect copper or PVC pipes and wiring.
• Train and mentor Install Helpers on job sites and in shop.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate with homeowners.
• Handle physical tasks, lifting 50+ pounds regularly.
• Maintain tools, parts, and vehicle in clean, organized condition.
• Work safely at heights, in tight spaces, and in extreme weather.
• Ensure adherence to appliance standards and safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
