Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions is seeking an Assistant General Manager/General Manager for its Residential Division in San Diego, CA. The role partners with the San Diego GM to run day-to-day operations, own a $20M+ P&L, and drive revenue growth with builder relationships across single-family and multi-family projects.

The candidate will lead 50–75 personnel, ensure safety and on-time delivery, oversee pursuits from qualification to award, and prepare the division for succession to the GM seat while

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive operations leadership in residential plumbing/HVAC or related field.
• P&L responsibility of $20M or larger.
• Strong builder account development; Southern California/San Diego experience preferred.
• Leadership of 50+ personnel across field and office.
• Sales-driven with proven growth of book-of-business.
• Executive credibility with GM/COO and builder leadership.

Responsibilities

• Co-own divisional P&L performance with the GM.
• Drive on-time, on-budget delivery across single-family and multi-family projects.
• Ensure safety and incident response with the safety function.
• Identify operational bottlenecks and optimize labor, materials, and schedules.
• Develop and manage builder relationships and pursue new work.
• Lead project pursuits from qualification to award and handoff to operations.
• Represent the division to corporate leadership and participate in planning.
