Job summary

Ashton North LLC in San Diego seeks an Assistant General Manager/General Manager for the Residential Division to run day-to-day operations and grow the business. This is a working leadership role, balancing operator, builder, and seller responsibilities.

Ideal candidates have managed a P&L in the $20–$50M range, led 50+ tradespeople and office staff, and built builder relationships that produced repeat revenue. The AGM is a visible succession track toward the GM seat.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive operations leadership in residential plumbing, HVAC, or combined mechanical contracting.
• P&L responsibility of $20M or larger with revenue growth levers.
• Strong builder account development; Southern California experience preferred.
• Leadership of teams 50+ across field and office; bench building.

Responsibilities

• Co-own divisional P&L performance with the GM.
• Drive on-time, on-budget execution across active single-family and multi-family communities.
• Ensure jobsite safety with compliance, training cadence, and incident response.
• Develop new builder relationships and lead project pursuits.
• Lead and develop 50–75 personnel across division.
