20/20 is seeking an Assistant General Manager/General Manager for the Residential Division in San Diego. The role partners with the GM to run day-to-day operations, grow the division, and serve as a visible successor.

You will manage a large P&L, lead 50+ staff, and drive builder relationships that generate repeat revenue. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of operations leadership in residential mechanical contracting, demonstrated $20M+ P&L responsibility, and a track record of building a robust

• 8+ years of progressive operations leadership in residential plumbing, HVAC, or combined mechanical contracting.
• P&L responsibility of $20M or larger, with proven levers to grow revenue and protect margin.
• Strong builder account development, especially in Southern California; San Diego ideal.
• Leadership of 50+ personnel across field and office; proven bench-building.
• Sales-driven with tangible book-of-business growth; not just task completion.
• Credibility at executive level with GM/COO and builder leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Co-own divisional P&L performance with the GM across revenue, gross margin, labor productivity, material spend, and overhead absorption.
• Drive on-time, on-budget execution across active single-family and multi-family communities; coordinate with builders, field leadership, and service group.
• Lead and develop field leadership and office staff (50–75 personnel total); coach, hire, and remove as needed while upholding accountability and integrity.
• Step into the GM seat when needed; participate in divisional strategy, planning, builder forecasting, and resource planning; represent the office to corporate leadership.
