Job summary

Airtron Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee HVAC installation teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure on-time, high-quality results on residential projects in Houston. The role requires strong leadership, safety compliance, and effective communication with builders and inspectors.

You will coordinate scheduling, review invoices, and schedule inspections while building relationships with homebuilders and city authorities.

Qualifications

3+ years HVAC installation experience
High school diploma or GED
Proven track record of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously
Must be able to communicate in English effectively, both verbally and in writing
Valid driver?s license required
Ability to work overtime with little notice; weekend hours may occasionally be required.

Responsibilities

Manages a group of sub-contractor craftsmen (installers and helpers).
Walk jobs regularly and verifies readiness for HVAC rough-in and HVAC trim installations.
Coordinates installation dates with scheduling team and ensures jobs are ready for installation.
Check the jobs by phase to assure work is completed.
Reviews sub-contractor invoices and approves after work is complete per phase.
Schedules inspections with local jurisdictions.
Coordinates and completes paperwork for billable change orders.
Meets builder supervisors on job sites to work through issues with installations or design.
Provides leadership to designated teams through objective setting and communication.
Follows safety policies and procedures.
