Job summary

Venture Community Services in Webster, MA seeks a Residential House Manager to supervise Direct Support Professionals and ensure the safety and well‑being of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will empower residents to be active in their lives and support daily operations of the residential site.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and commitment to DDS mission standards.

Qualifications

BA/BS preferred with one year of human services experience.
Must be 21+ years old with a HS diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license; daily car use on site preferred but not required.
Available by telephone for daily contact.

Responsibilities

Supervise all Direct Care staff.
Develop and implement ISP’s (Individualized Support Plans).
Oversee house operations and services.
Ensure a 'home-like' environment for individuals living in the program.
Knowledge, adherence, and implementation of the Agency policies.
Ensure the program maintains the standard outline in the DDS Mission Statement.
Maintain ongoing communication with parents, guardians, day programs, physicians, pharmacist, program directors, and funding sources.
Coach, train, and develop high-performing work teams.
Advocate and establish rapport with the disabled population and their families, co-workers, and service providers.
