Venture Community Services Inc. in Dudley, MA is seeking a Residential House Manager to supervise Direct Support Professionals, ensure health and safety of residents, and manage day-to-day operations of the residential site.

You will empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, advocate for their active participation, and promote a culture of inclusion. The role offers growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree preferred with one year experience in human services.
• Must be 21+ years old, have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, daily use of a car on site (preferred but not required).

Responsibilities

• Supervision of all Direct Care staff.
• Development and implementation of all ISP’s (Individualized Support Plans).
• Oversee house operations and services.
• Ensure a “home-like” environment for the individuals living in the program.
• Knowledge, adherence, and implementation of the Agency policies.
• Ensure the program maintains the standard outline in the DDS Mission Statement.
• Ensures ongoing communication with parents, guardians, day programs, physicians, pharmacist, program directors, and funding sources.
• Coaches, trains, and develops high-performing work teams.
• Ability to advocate and establish rapport with the disabled population, their families, co-workers, and service providers.
