Job summary

Dungarvin inc is hiring a House Manager/Program Director in Louisville, KY. You will oversee residential and/or day programs for individuals with IDD and other needs, blending direct care with supervision.

The role requires coordinating staff, developing goals, and managing program operations while maintaining compliance and quality of care. A valid driver's license and flexible scheduling are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred.
• At least 1 year full-time direct experience with participants with developmental disabilities.
• At least 2 years of management experience with development disabilities.
• Strong decision-making and time management abilities; good communication is essential.

Responsibilities

• Personnel management and program coordination, including orientation and ongoing training.
• Monitor all aspects of the program, including goals and plans and implementation.
• Coordinate and manage the operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects through the site designee.

Job Description

What You Get To Do:

As the House Manager/Program Directoryou will have oversight and beresponsible for coordinating and managing the overall assigned program or programs (residential and/or day program) in relation to individuals with developmental disabilities (IDD).This position is a mixture of both direct care and supervisory duties.

• Personnel management and program coordination including but not limited to assuring they complete orientation, and ongoing training.
• Monitorall aspects of the program including but not limited to developing individual goals and plans, implementing the program.
• Assure coordination and management of the overall operations, medical, financial and maintenance aspects of the programs, through guiding and directing thedesignee of the site.

Hours:

• Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to be on call when needed. This includes weekends and odd hours

Qualifications

What Makes You A Great Fit:

• Bachelor's degree in a human services field of study preferred.
• At least1 year full time,direct experience working with participants with developmental disabilities or intellectual disabilities.
• At least 2 years of experience in management and working with development disabilities
• Must demonstrate good decision-making, time management and communication skills, and be responsible, mature, and flexible.
• A successful background clearance is required as part of the onboarding/employment process
• Good communication is key in this role. You'll rely on your reading, writing, and communication skills to document care, follow support plans, and collaborate with both internal and external team members.
• Valid driver's license required(due to transporting persons served)
• Candidates must be comfortable driving to transport persons servedas required
  • Some positions/locations may require your own personal vehicle and auto liabilityinsurance based on the role
