Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking a dedicated House Manager to coordinate daily operations for a residential program in New Jersey. You will supervise staff, ensure health and nutrition needs, and manage services with a focus on person-centered supports.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety procedures, budgeting, and strong communication with internal and external partners. Eligible FT employees receive comprehensive benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in related social services field and/or two years of experience in IDD (Intellectual/Developmental Disability) field.
• Experience in developmental disabilities and supervisory experience preferred.
• Person-centered, patient, and kind.
• Dependable, adaptable, flexible.
• Good communication is key; documentation and collaboration required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, coordinate and assure all services to the individual are delivered, communicated and coordinated daily.
• Provide daily supervision and oversight of all staff at each location.
• Monitor and assure health care and nutritional needs are met.
• Coordinate changes in services, hospitalizations and other issues.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization and upkeep of the home and vehicle.
• Ensure compliance with emergency procedures and budgeting/spending reporting.

Starting Pay:Mon 9a-5p, Tues 7a-3p, Weds 10a-6p, Thursday 3p-11p, Sat 8a-4p

Job Description

A House Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and management of the daily operations of a program or programs. The two priority areas of responsibility include ensuring orientation and ongoing training of staff and ensuring all aspects of the program are developed, implemented, coordinated, and monitored to the highest degree possible. TheHouse Managerwill managea single residential program in New Jersey.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Monitor, coordinate and assure all services to the individual are delivered, communicated and coordinated on a daily basis.
• Provide daily supervision and oversight of all staff, at each location.
• Monitor and assure that daily health care and nutritional needs are met.
• Assure the coordination and communication of changes in services, hospitalizations and other issues.
• Monitor and manage the cleanliness, organization and upkeep of the home and vehicle.
• Assure compliance with emergency procedure requirements.
• Promote a positive cooperative relationship with team members, vendors, neighbors, law enforcement and emergency personnel.
• Monitor and assure all budgeting and spending accounts are managed, collected and reported as required.

Qualifications
