Job summary

Vector Security is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to drive growth in residential and small business markets. You will prospect homeowners and business owners, deliver tailored security solutions, and manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close.

This role rewards a hunter mentality with uncapped earning potential, a base salary plus commission, and company-paid benefits. Charlottesville-based, on-site position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Prospecting skills to expand residential business and generate new opportunities.
• Selling/Customer Service experience preferred; ability to demonstrate value of Vector’s products.
• Closing skills to meet performance levels and overcome objections with negotiation ability.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sell Vector’s residential solutions and achieve sales orders, RMR and unit targets.
• Generate opportunities through cold calling, community involvement, and existing customers; follow up on leads and maintain high close rate.
• Maintain product knowledge through ongoing training and required certifications.
• Educate customers about Vector Security products and services.
• Maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction throughout the life of the customer.
• Identify opportunities to market products to new customers and segments.
