Job summary

Comcast is hiring a Residential Installation & Service Technician. This entry‑level field role installs, maintains, and troubleshoots residential voice, video, and internet services. Paid training and required certifications accompany hands‑on work to build skills with increasing independence.

You’ll perform field assessments, service calls, and install basic home networks. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and overtime is required; safety and customer satisfaction are emphasized throughout

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Willingness to complete training and certifications.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as part of field installation work.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential installations, service changes, and disconnects following safety practices and codes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues from network to customer equipment.
• Install and support home networks using coax, Ethernet, and Wi‑Fi.
• Document work and update customer accounts using digital tools.
• Operate ladders, meters, and light power tools safely; work at heights as needed.
• Meet performance and safety standards and communicate professionally.
