Job summary

ARC of Acadiana seeks a dependable Home Manager to oversee daily operations of Residential Community Group Homes, supervise Direct Support Professionals, ensure staffing coverage, and promote safe, person-centered support.

This hands-on leadership role coordinates with Residential leadership, QIDPs, nursing, maintenance, and other teams to promote continuity of care, accountability, and a positive environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of professional-level supervisory/management experience in a residential setting.
• Knowledge of residential services for individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
• Understanding of licensing, regulatory, and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and staff development abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Direct Support Professionals and manage staffing coverage.
• Ensure ISPs/IPPs are implemented consistently with leadership and QIDPs.
• Monitor service delivery, documentation, and compliance; take corrective actions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety drills, inspections.
• Coordinate maintenance, supplies, and household resources.
• Maintain clear communication with leadership and interdisciplinary teams.
• Lead emergency response and continuity of services.
