Job summary

The Scion Group is seeking a Porter/Gatekeeper for Varsity House Gainesville in Gainesville, FL. The role focuses on keeping common areas clean, safe, and well-maintained, with duties extending to selective maintenance tasks and assisting with outdoor work as needed.

We value reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collegiate environment. Eligible applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of full-time experience in lawn/grounds maintenance preferred.
• Able to read and follow instructions and document labor and materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property per SOPs and standards.
• Perform physically demanding tasks to upkeep assets and common areas.
• Remove trash and debris from common areas on a continuous basis.
• Sweep curbs, parking areas, walkways and stairways as scheduled.
• Maintain and repair stairwell treads and exterior lighting.
