Role requires in-home consultations, strong sales skills, and collaboration with engineering, operations, and permitting teams. Flexible remote options and a strong earning potential are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of proven experience in field sales, home services, solar, energy storage, or renewable energy solutions.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Comfortable conducting in-home consultations and site assessments.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, able to work independently.
• Proficient with CRM platforms and sales proposal tools.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, and close new residential and light commercial generator sales.
• Educate homeowners on financial and environmental benefits of Generac generator systems.
• Conduct site evaluations and gather data for proposals.
• Prepare and present professional, tailored proposals to potential customers.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and permitting teams to hand off sale to installation.
• Maintain CRM records, track leads, and report progress to management.
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Develop builder network for new home sales.
• Attend and represent at home shows, trade shows, and local events.
